In this workshop, Henry Adebonojo, accomplished and renowned cinematographer will lead participants through a four-session deep dive into the practice of cinematography. This course will workshop concepts related to the field of cinematography, such as the creative and technical advantages of using film vs. digital mediums, the creative uses of various lens types, the qualities and mechanics of different lighting units and other related topics. Henry Adebonojo is a New York City based cinematographer and photographer with a twenty five year background in creating images and films. His work spans a variety of genres and pursuits–Documentary films, Promos and Commercials, Music Videos and various other Television projects. These include the Academy Award nominated documentary "I Am Not Your Negro" and the Emmy nominated "Half Past Autumn" for Magnolia Pictures and HBO respectively.
